Powered Crafting Benches will require a power source. Windmill Technique can be learned under the Glow of Iron Era. Awareness Strength: 46. Tech Points: 4 and the first point in Windmill Technique.

In order to keep your powered benches running you will need to build a windmill and connect a wooden windmill blade onto the windmill. The wooden windmill blades cannot be picked up once placed and have a durability of 1,000 that will slowly degrade over time so long as it is running and will need to be replaced otherwise your benches will run out of power. You can turn off the windmills when the benches are not in use by clicking “Stop” on the windmill. 

Power Extension Shafts are used to connect the powered benches to the windmill. Each bench requires 100 Power for them to be used. You can connect multiple benches to a single power extension shaft however the power will be divided between the benches but this may not be enough power for the bench to operate. 

Example: connecting the powered spinning wheel and a powered cutting machine to the same power extension shaft will split the windmill power output of 120 to split it into 60 power for the spinning wheel and 60 power for the cutting machine.
